Meet Galion
You talk to Galion One. Behind it, your agent does the deep thinking and the legwork, so you get real answers and real help, not just chat.

Open Galion One →Ask a big question and let it go. Galion, the research agent, breaks the job into steps, does the reading, and comes back with an answer you can use.
The agent inside GalionThe Obsidian Open Mind stack
Open Mind is the family of projects that power Galion. Each one does a single job well, and together they give you an assistant that is quick, careful and yours.
The assistant you talk to, on your phone, your laptop or the web.
The research agent. It plans the work, shares it out and brings back the results.
Looks after everything. It notices when something is wrong and keeps intruders out.
Remembers what matters to you, kept on your own machine, even offline.
Plugs your assistant into the tools and apps you already use.
Lines up the work in order and keeps spending inside the limits you set.
A practice ground where agents are tested and scored before they help you.
One calm place to see your devices, keys and approvals.

How it works
Galion is made to do a lot with a little. No giant servers, no special hardware: the computers you already have are enough.
Rust is a programming language known for speed and safety. Galion is written in it from top to bottom, so it is small, quick and sturdy.
Galion is built for the everyday chip in your computer. If one of your machines has a graphics card, Galion will use it too, but it never needs one.
Connect any laptop or device and it serves you at home, on your own network, even without the internet. To answer, it uses an AI model you choose: one on your own computer, or an online one.
Private by design
You do not need an email address or any personal details. We give you an account number, and that number is your account. Keep it somewhere safe: it is the only key to your account.
Nothing to fill in, nothing to verify, nothing to leak.
One generated number signs you in. Write it down and keep it safe.
